Dr. Kumar R completed his B.E. in Civil Engineering from Madras University in 1989. Rather than depending on others, he financed his education by undertaking small construction and interior contract works — a practical schooling that ran alongside his academic one. That same year, he established CREATIONS, his first company in the construction sector.
Dr. Kumar R founded CREATIONS Concrete Prefab Products — a manufacturing unit for prefabricated concrete structures and precast hollow blocks in Kundrathur. This placed him among the first three pioneers of prefab concrete in Tamil Nadu.

This work has been delivered through a cohesive, purpose-driven partnership with his spouse Asha Marina S., B.E., M.S. (BITS Pilani), Director of Creations Promoters and Developers Pvt. Ltd.
